This international Erasmus+ training brings together youth workers, leaders and facilitators to explore what meaningful participation really looks like — beyond token involvement — and how it can become a powerful tool for community building, inclusion and sustained engagement. Participants will reflect on existing youth participation practices from their local contexts and co-design new, innovative approaches that strengthen relationships, trust and long-term involvement among young people.

Objectives of the Training

  • To understand the conceptos of peace, violence, human rights, conflict and conflict transformation
  • To deepen the understanding of meaningful participation and its relationship with community building, belonging and care.
  • To explore youth participation as a relational, process-based and collective practice.
  • To map local community needs and challenges that can be addressed through innovative participation repertories.
  • To identify, exchange and co-create participatory practices that strengthen youth communities at the local level.
  • To design and present at least six local follow-up actions focused on reinforcing community bonds and active participation.
  • To build a sustainable European network for cooperation, mutual learning and support among participants and organisations.
