Join us in Bratislava for an international Walk & Talk training focused on Nordic Walking, wellbeing, and women’s empowerment. From 23 to 26 April 2026, participants will gather in Bratislava, Slovakia for a dynamic programme that combines Nordic Walking workshops, outdoor activity, cultural exploration, and community-building in an international setting. The activity is hosted by the Slovak Nordic Walking Association, in cooperation with partners from Austria and North Macedonia.
The Walk & Talk (WAT) project responds to the issue of physical inactivity among young women and girls, as well as growing mental health challenges connected to negative body image and low self-esteem. The project promotes Nordic Walking as an accessible, affordable, and inclusive physical activity that supports both physical and mental wellbeing. It also aims to build a supportive community and raise awareness of the connection between movement, self-confidence, and health. The objective of the training is to strengthen participants’ skills in Nordic Walking methodology and help them create engaging, supportive, and health-promoting activities for young women and girls.
