Do you want to support a community event in Vienna, meet new people, and be part of an international team? We are looking for volunteers to help us during the U-PLAYS Festival 2026, taking place on Saturday, 4 July 2026 .
The festival will bring together Ukrainian youth, families, local organisations, employers, volunteers, and the wider public for a full day of sport, games, workshops, language cafés, a job fair, cultural activities, food, music, and community.
The event is organised by ACTIVE Austria as part of the U-PLAYS programme, which supports Ukrainian youth in Austria through sport, language learning, employment readiness, and social connection.

How can volunteers help?
Volunteers can support different parts of the festival, depending on their interests and availability. You can help with:
- Welcoming visitors and supporting registration
- Guiding participants around the venue
- Supporting sport activities, games, and tournaments
- Helping with workshops, partner stands, or the language café
- Supporting the job fair area
- Assisting with food, logistics, and general event organisation
- Helping with set-up and clean-up
- Creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for everyone
You do not need special experience to volunteer. We are looking for motivated, reliable, and friendly people who enjoy working with others and want to support the community.
