Join the international Erasmus+ training course “Supporting Our Supporters – SOS”, taking place in Sardara, Sardinia, from 13–19 October 2026. This training puts youth workers’ well-being at the centre, helping you reinforce non-formal education methodologies focused on resilience, prevent burnout, and design more meaningful, empowering learning experiences for the young people you work with.

We are looking for:
- youth workers, volunteers, mentors, or collaborators of partner organisations
- aged 18+
- experience in the youth field or working with young people with fewer opportunities
- genuine motivation and interest in the topics of the project positive energy and good social skills — open-minded, flexible, willing to help others
- able and willing to share what you learn with your organisation and community afterwards
This opportunity is especially suitable for those who want to bring back practical burnout-prevention tools and stress-management skills to their own youth work practice.
What will you gain?
During the training, participants will:
- reinforce NFE methodologies focused on well-being and resilience
- gain practical burnout prevention tools
- develop competences in stress management
- design meaningful and empowering learning experiences
- connect with 30 youth workers from 9 European countries
Practical information:
- Accommodation: Double rooms with private bathrooms at Hotel Antiche Terme, Sardara.
- Food: Breakfast, lunch and dinner covered, served at the hotel restaurant.
- Youthpass: All participants will receive a Youthpass certificate recognising their learning outcomes.
- Travels: 100% of travel costs are covered by Erasmus+, up to a maximum of 309€ per participant (or 417 EUR for green travel, without flights) for those travelling from Austria. To reach the venue, fly into Cagliari-Elmas Airport, then take the train from the Elmas Aeroporto station to San Gavino (single fare €3.70 via Trenitalia) — we’ll arrange your transfer from San Gavino to the hotel. Reimbursement is paid by bank transfer to the sending organisation, in EUR, against original tickets, boarding passes and receipts (taxis are not eligible).
- Participants are expected to attend the full duration of the course and take part in all activities. No accommodation is provided for extra days beyond 13–19 October.
