On 9 December 2025, ACTIVE Austria organised the Erasmus+ Sport Connect 2025 event at the Library at Impact Hub in Vienna, bringing together sport organisations, local associations, NGOs, community leaders, and professionals interested in the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Sport programme.
The event served as an interactive and practical networking evening focused on knowledge-sharing, partnership building, and inspiration for future European cooperation projects. We were joined by representatives from different NGOs and sport clubs in Vienna and across Austria such as Kids in Motion, Artemis Archery Club, Hotvolleys Vienna volleyball club, 180 Degrees Consulting, Shotokan Karate-Do Wien and many more, who contributed to a dynamic exchange of experiences, ideas, and good practices.

What to Expect
Throughout the evening, we covered key topics including:
- what the Erasmus+ Sport programme supports
- available funding opportunities for organisations
- how to prepare and submit a project application
- ways to find reliable partners across Europe
- examples of successful projects and good practices from ACTIVE Austria
A particularly valuable part of the event was the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss future collaboration possibilities. Participants shared their experiences from the local sport and NGO sector, explored common challenges, and discussed potential project concepts and partnership opportunities for future Erasmus+ applications.
The event concluded with an open networking session, allowing participants to continue discussions in an informal setting and strengthen connections within the sport and civil society community in Austria.
